Brown Compares Whitman to Goebbles

A KCBS reporter has said that Gubernatorial candidate Jerry Brown said this of his opponent in a recent informal conversation. (it appears to have taken place while both were biking)

She'll have people believing whatever she wants about me.

...

Goebbels invented this kind of propaganda. He took control of the whole world,

The Republican Jewish Coalition quickly responded with this statement.

Jerry Brown needs to take responsibility for the full impact of his words, however carelessly spoken. The offensiveness of his likening Meg Whitman to Joseph Goebbels, for Holocaust survivors and the families of Holocaust victims, is obvious and demands accountability. But let’s also note the way Jerry Brown’s offensive Holocaust rhetoric hurts all Californians.

A local Jewish publication editorialized like this.

some recent ill-timed declarations, but given the Internet’s growing ability to spread rumors and exaggerate situations (For instance: Russell Crowe’s non-death), it seems like a wise decision to avoid making any sort of Holocaust references, especially while on the campaign trail.

Jerry Brown, it seems to me, is on to something.
The more I listen to Meg Whitman the more I find her repulsive and threatening to human rights.
In this day when even Israel has turned the tables and taken on the role of Apartheid, notice concentration camp called Gaza. Killing and torturing kids. Taking over Palestinian homes on West Bank and putting up the Israeli swastika. Yes, I think comparison of Whitman with Goebbels is very appropriate for the time we are living in.

Hmmmm....that statement is purely retarded. Israel is not an apartheid state. The palestinians have passed twice on their own state to continue a war against Israel. This is what passes for liberal, progressive thought in the US today and it is disgusting. That is Israels land it is their home and Israel has laid claim to this ground and occupied it for three millennia.

I find it more interesting that the very mention of equating a Republican to a fascist leader liberals jump on board immediately, even though they support a form of fascism through the current gov't take over of private industry even cheer it.
