Dori Foster-Morales is a Very Dangerous Lady

 

Dori Foster-Morales is the outgoing President of the Florida BAR; for that and other reasons, she is used to getting her way, and she's got her sights set on Gabriel "Gabe" Shapiro.

Shapiro recently joined Megan Fox and me on the Livestream. (Gabe's interview starts about 38 minutes in)

 

 Shapiro, along with other family members, started JPay, which provides an online payment system for those who are incarcerated in most of the prisons, Gabe said about 75% of the inmates, in the US. 

He has two children five and under, but despite his financial success, it's been about six months since he's seen either child, accused of being a drug addict. 

That accusation continues to be made despite Gabe passing now fifteen straight drug tests. 

Gabe and his ex-wife, Patsy Alcantar Saucedo, initially started a divorce, having reached a settlement in early 2020. 

Gabe said that his ex-wife, who had hired Foster-Morales as her attorney, began making accusations and trying to modify custody shortly after the settlement was reached. 

As Gabe was dealing with this his oldest child made a shocking disclosure. 

"My son, who is now five years, he was four years old at the time, told me about sexual abuse while in the care of his mother." Gabe said. "He told me that in pristine detail, and it was absolutely shocking."

Rather than having an appropriate investigation, Gabe said a sham investigation was conducted by the local Department of Children and Families (DCF). 

Foster-Morales jumped into action, Gabe said.

She brought this accusation into family court. 

"She (Foster-Morales) claimed that my mental health is at issue; that I'm having a mental breakdown- that I'm delusional- that I'm seeing and hearing things from my son, basically that started everything; my mental health becomes the big issue in the case."

At the same time, the DCF was conducting a sham investigation, led by the caseworker/investigator Derrick Lovett. 

Gabe said there have been two investigations led by Lovett.  

"He's (Lovett) been in charge of both investigations and both times he questioned my son in front of his mother." Gabe said on the Livestream, "One time, he questioned my son in front of six or seven other nurses and he couldn't even respond. I wasn't allowed in the room. The second time he questioned the son while in the car with his mother....He threatened to arrest me, he said, 'I'm going to arrest you.'"

Lovett then threatened to testify as such in court, and this was used as leverage to get Gabe to agree to a stipulation which his then attorney, Jordan Abramowitz, said to him, "Hey Gabe, Dori Foster-Morales she's scheduling a hearing with Derrick Lovett, the DCF investigator, and they're going to basically- you're going to be screwed in this hearing, we need you to sign this stipulation, and he had my sign this stipulation which permanently affected my parental rights."

Gabe said he was told it was temporary, only while an investigation was conducted; this has dragged for nearly a year and caused him to be separated from his two children for many months. 

Foster-Morales also throws her weight around in other ways. For instance, she has been able to get the judge, Ivonne Cuesta, to order Gabe to pay Foster-Morales bills, the bills for the GAL- Anastasia Garcia, and for the attorney Garcia hired- Jacqueline Valdespino. 

Valdespino promptly sent Gabe her first bill, including a retainer of $7,500.

Meanwhile, Garcia has largely walked lockstep with Foster-Morales, backing all her decisions. 

She has also run interference, when necessary. 

Most recently, a Dr. Seely is prepared to submit his evaluation and it doesn't appear he is going to toe the line, as such Garcia is trying to inundate him with information to delay the release of the report. 

Recently, there was a six hour hearing which Gabe did not attend but Garcia is demanding that Dr. Seely be given a transcript before submitting his report. "Mrs Ferderigos it Is inappropriate for you to send this email . I ask that Dr Seely not reply . You and your client copy Dr Seely on every email including your client emailing Dr Seely about yesterday’s hearing . Dr Seely needs the full story and needs the transcripts . Furthermore let’s be clear that Dr Seely is performing the Psychiatric evaluation not the Psychological." Garcia said in an email on July 2, 2021. 

Finally, Foster-Morales has even successfully restricted Gabe's 1st Amendment rights. Her motion is below. Most of it was granted.

Foster-Morales even lied about me, stating in an email. 

Leslie:  It has come to my attention that Michael Volpe, a journalist who you and Mr. Shapiro have been working with on the Alcantar/Shapiro case (and other cases) has now been harassing Ms. Cue, the minor son’s therapist by repeatedly calling her.  I fully understand you/your client are attempting to intimidate and harass the professionals in the case (myself included), and using Mr. Volpe as one of your tools to do so, but this harassment of the child’s therapist is a bridge to far.  This must stop immediately.   I will be bringing all of his to the Court’s attention.  The fact that you are working with Mr. Volpe who is publishing one-sided and totally false/incorrect accounts of what is going on in this case and then sending them out via email in an effort to bully everyone in this case is beyond improper and a real shame.  Rather than assist your client in obtaining the necessary help he needs, your methods of delay, obfuscation and intimidation are simply exacerbating your client’s problems and the trauma inflicted to this family.  The orderly administration of justice demands that you change the manner in which you are litigating this case.
