Suicide Note of Chris Mackney

UPDATE: Folks please check out the new book, Bullied to Death: Chris Mackney's Kafaesque Divorce about this saga.

Folks, thanks for visiting. I was communicating with Mr. Mackney prior to his suicide. The note only scratches the surface. Please stay tuned. The whole unbelievable story will be revealed soon. As you've noticed, the original suicide note was removed by the website Scribd.com after Dina Mackney, the ex-wife of the deceased, copyrighted it after his death and then sent out notices through her lawyer to have it removed from sites like Scribd. Below is a youtube video of the note being read. Enjoy and feel free to comment. Please no swearing, threats (especially against Ms. Mackney), or other derogatory statements.

This story is long and complicated but it starts with a murder in 1968. Below is the police report into the murder of Sam Degelia Jr. Sam Degelia Jr. was killed by hitman Charles Harrelson at the behest of Pete Scamardo. Pete Scamardo is the father of Dina Mackney and the ex-father-in-law of Chris Mackney, who committed suicide on December 29, 2013.
His note, read on You Tube, is below.

The very idea that someone can copyright someone else's suicide note is insanity. Let's hope this gets mirrored a million times.

Probably best thing to happen to this case...

Referred to as the Streisand Effect for a similar incident with Barbara Streisand. Thanks for the comment and for keeping it clean. Stay tuned, much more to come on this story soon.

I'm missing something, here. They were divorced, so how could Ms. Mackey assert copyright on any intellectual property of Mr. Mackey's estate? IANAL, but the claim asserted by Ms. Mackey and her attorneys seems baseless, unmeritorious, and vexatious, with pursuit of a vendetta as its object, even posthumously...

Very complicated question and if I were to post the court order, etc, you might see better, but I don't want to create any more legal hurdles. The simple answer is that she was acting as the executor for the estate of his closest heirs, his children.

Got it. So sad. I've heard plenty of horror stories of men being abused by family court.

The genie is out of the bottle. Nothing can put it back. I have the note on my own PC, and I urge everyone to download it. Full text is available at AVfM.

And by the way, I live outside United States jurisdiction.
