How David Knutson Judicially Stole Sandra Grazzini-Rucki's Home

(Judge David Knutson)
According to a newly unearthed document, the process by which David Knutson, in a biased manner, ordered all four homes which the Rucki’s owned to David Rucki is shown.

The document is a property settlement from August 28, 2012.

According to the document, Sandra Grazzini-Rucki is given ownership of the couple’s primary residency on Ireland Place in Lakeville, Minnesota.

David Rucki received full ownership interest in their property on Flagstaff in Farmington, Minnesota. And a timeshare in Florida.

But, Sandra Grazzini-Rucki was given impossible conditions to meet in order to maintain ownership of the Ireland Place house. “Petitioner shall pay the current mortgage arrears of $20,000 no later than October 1, 2012.” Knutson’s order stated.

She was also ordered to refinance the home, which had arrears, by October 18, 2012. In the event those things weren’t done in forty some days, Knutson ordered, “If petitioner fails to do any of the above by October 18, 2012, the property shall therefore be transferred to Respondent (David Rucki) on October 18, 2012 and he will be awarded rights, title, interest, and equity in said property.”

The property was in arrears because David Rucki refused to pay any of the child support and alimony obligations he’d had since the beginning of the divorce.

Knutson also ordered that David Rucki received one hundred percent of their multi-million dollar business. To make matters worse, on September 7, 2012, Sandra Grazzini-Rucki was ordered out of the very home she had a month plus to refinance and pay the arrears of.

“Petitioner (SGR) shall vacate the (Ireland Place) property no later than Friday, September 7, 2012, at or before 12PM.

Knutson only signed this order at approximately 9AM on September 7, 2012.

As such, in order to keep ownership of the home, she would have to pay back the arrears and refinance in about a month, all without even being allowed to live in it. Not surprisingly, SGR was unable to meet the terms of the August 28 property settlement and this property, along with all their other properties, became David Rucki's. With him getting one hundred percent of their business as well, David Knutson engineered it so that David Rucki got all their assets.

According to a tract search, on October 11, 2012, the Ireland Property was put for a Sheriff’s sale; it was the first of six foreclosures on this property, though remarkably, David Rucki continues to live there.

Finally, in the same property settlement, Knutson ordered that Sandra Grazzini-Rucki pay back the debts of David Rucki’s parents, Fred and Vicky Rucki, in the amount of $329,000.

I reached out to Judge David Knutson, the four press people for the Minnesota courts- Lissa Finne, Kyle Christopherson, Beau Berentson, and Alyssa Siems-Roberson, Lisa Elliott (David Rucki's attorney, and her paralegal, Allison Mann; Mann has written a book on this case as well.

None have responded as of yet but I will update if any provides a statement. For more on the Rucki case, check out the interview below.
