Who's the Extremist?

Let me see if I get this right. Democrats passed a 2000 page radical overhaul of health care, a 2000 page radical overhaul of our financial system, spent nearly $1 trillion to "stimulate" our economy, and almost passed a 2000 page radical overhaul of our energy policy. Yet, it's the Tea Parties that are extremists because they want to reign in government, cut spending, and lower taxes. Good luck with that strategy.

  1. Frankly, the word 'extremist' needs to be put out to pasture. If the economic collapse has taught us anything, its that everything we thought we knew about economic policy since 1980 is wrong. There's nothing wrong with new ideas so long as they are espoused by competent leadership.

  2. I agree that extremist is often used to describe someone's views that you simply don't like and it's a non sensical description. I don't agree that the financial crisis taught anything about economic policy 1980 to present. That's a slick way of saying Reaganomics didn't work and there'sno evidence of that.

  3. Ag;

    So...also a backhanded way of saying Carter's economy had a very low misery index.

    How old are you anyhow? I closed on a already committed to house @ 16% interest...yep...rates kinda came out of no where...let's go back to those good old Dem days!
