Stone Mountain is proof of the greatest of this nation. What other nation would allow its people to honor traitors? Put down the guns, folks. Robert E Lee, Stonewall Jackson, and Jeff Davis -- Took up arms against our government -- And We the People are still allowed to honor them. This is a great nation.
Well let's see I believe the first colonial settlers took up arms against the British Government that provided us with the freedom we have today. I'm sure they were considered traitors. The carving is a tribute to American history regardless of what you think of the individuals.
