Check Out this Fascinating Profile of Derrick Rose

In March 2011, ESPN the Magazine's Rick Bucher published a lengthy profile of Derrick Rose. It traced Rose's progression as a basketball player from his early youth. In that piece, there is this quote.

Credit Robert Lueder, John Cifelli, Giulio Narcisi and Charles Panici. In fact, they just might be responsible for every Chi-Town point guard -- Isiah Thomas and Tim Hardaway included -- who has made his mark on the NBA in the past few decades.

That would be the same Chuck Panici that is the subject of my new book Prosecutors Gone Wild: The Inside Story of the Trial of Chuck Panici, John Gliottoni, and Louise Marshall.

Please check out the piece on Rose and see how it all connects. Check out Chapter 8 of my new book for the whole story about the formation of Small Fry Basketball
