Attacking the opposition is not a partisan issue. All politicians do it.

McCain does offer a vision. Keep taxes the same for everyone and cut the capital gains and corporate tax. The corporate tax in this country is the second highest in the Western world just under Japan.

The attacks go both way but both have a solution. It just depends which you want. Do you want income redistribution or do you want a pro growth strategy?mike volpehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02999118519606254362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3098264341625381422.post-83639864125144395522008-10-25T18:22:00.000-07:002008-10-25T18:22:00.000-07:00Your whole angle encapsulates why McCain is failin...Your whole angle encapsulates why McCain is failing. McCain doesn't offer any real plan to help the economy or the country. All he does is attack Obama (i.e., personally) and what Obama offers, calling him and his plans "names." He has no positive vision himself. You offer nothing but more "names" for McCain to call Obama and his economic plan (i.e., your advise is that he should call Obama a "Marxist" and his plan "Communism"). You see that McCain's name-calling has failed, but you don't see that this is because the whole name-calling strategy is flawed for this election year. Rather you think his name-calling should just become more outlandish and virulent, then it will work. This year, people are looking for a candidate with a positive vision to help them during these devastating times, not someone who has no vision or plans himself but just angrily flails around and attacks the other guy and his plans.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3098264341625381422.post-270571638634699032008-10-25T17:58:00.000-07:002008-10-25T17:58:00.000-07:00Actually he would be preaching to the social popul...Actually he would be preaching to the social populists as Dick Morris referred to them and Joe the Plumber did work. In the aftermath of the debate, McCain's number got better then they ebbed as the debate faded, Powell endorsed Obama, and his superious funding kicked in again.

The message that Obama wants to take in order to spread the wealth is the only chance McCain has, however he needs to sharpen and focus the attack.mike volpehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02999118519606254362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3098264341625381422.post-27374921496532614682008-10-25T17:45:00.000-07:002008-10-25T17:45:00.000-07:00Good grief. He's already tried the "socialist" angle, combined it with "Joe the Plumber," and that went over like a lead balloon. What, you think if he keeps repeating "From each according to his means, to each according to his needs" again and again and again and again it's going to magically persuade the public that Obama's a communist or something? He's already repeated "Joe the Plumber" about 50,000 times, and it hasn't helped him. The fundamental reason these tactics have failed is that there's nothing radical about Obama's tax plan. It's a perfectly reasonable center-left tax plan. Wacko anarcho-capitalists view it as "socialism" or "communism," but the rest of the population is not going to be persuaded.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3098264341625381422.post-82840441538978143792008-10-25T16:34:00.000-07:002008-10-25T16:34:00.000-07:00And once elected, joined by a Congressional Super ...And once elected, joined by a Congressional Super Majority, Obama's promised new Civilian National Security Force (read Gestapo) will visit each of us at our homes to take us to Alinsky/Ayres style reeducation camps!

Boy oh boy, sounds like tons of fun to:)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
